Teaching experience

Today I have discovered that I have been invited to my former dance school to hold workshops for various students and discuss university life to them. I have decided what I am going to prepare for the worshop. I am going to use myown choreography ,that I am in the process of making in rehearsals with my dancers, as phrases for them to learn and develop insmall groups as a task, which they will then present to the rest of the class.

For the older students, 18 and above years old, I will teach a Contact Improvisation class, which will be a relaxed introduction into Contact Improvisation. This will allow the students to experiment and explore how bodies can interact in space. This will start by allowing the students to accept each other's weight and using this to find new ways of creating movement through the use of touch.
